T-Mobile Expands Binge On With 16 New Video Streaming Providers, Now Includes Over 100 Services
T-Mobile CEO and President John Legere today announced yet another Binge On expansion for its postpaid and prepaid users. T-Mobile expands Binge On with 16 new video streaming providers, which are ABC, Apple Music, Big Ten Network, CEEK VR, DISH Anywhere, Disney Channel, Disney Jr., Disney XD, D-PAN.TV, DramaFever, FOX NOW, FXNOW, NAT GEO TV, Shalom World, Sioeye and Tubi TV. With this addition, video streaming with Binge On that doesn’t count against plan’s high speed data is now possible on more than 100 video streaming providers.
T-Mobile says that video streaming providers, which have joined Binge On program, benefit from this partnership since customers spend more time watching videos; they are doing it more frequently and for longer and are also buying more subscriptions. Customers are also happy as they can watch as many videos as they want on their mobile phones and tablets without using data included in their monthly service plans. Binge On streams videos at compressed DVD quality (480p) and it can be turned on and off at any time.
Binge On Service On Prepaid Plans
Prepaid T-Mobile customers also have access to Binge On. On some plans, customers watch videos without using any data at all and on some, they save data up to three times while streaming. Customers on Simple Choice prepaid plans with 6GB of data and more have access to Binge On (streaming doesn’t use plan’s data) while $50/2GB data plan users save data up to three times while watching video content.
Same benefit as $50/2GB Simple Choice prepaid plan users have customers on T-Mobile’s Simply Prepaid plans and those on its prepaid brand, MetroPCS. This feature on MetroPCS is called Data Maximizer and it’s included with all of its prepaid month plans: $30/1 GB, $40/3 GB, $50/5 GB and $60/unlimited plan. In addition, T-Mobile MVNO Walmart Family Mobile offers Data Saver on its plans, same feature as Data Maximizer, for a limited time.
