T-Mobile’s Simply Prepaid stores show “significant increase in T-Mobile sales”
Simply Prepaid retail stores that T-Mobile has launched in June this year, offer exclusively products of brands that use T-Mobile network. Brands included are T-Mobile prepaid, its prepaid brand GoSmart Mobile, Univision Mobile that’s joined venture between T-Mobile and the Spanish language TV network and T-Mobile MVNO Ultra Mobile.
Since Simply Prepaid stores have proven to be quite successful, according to T-Mobile US representative, a “long list” of independent wireless dealers have become interested in joining them lately, Fierce Wireless reports.
T-Mobile US representative said to FierceWireless that “to date, stores that have opted into the new initiative are seeing a significant increase in T-Mobile sales as compared to similarly located stores not in the program.”
T-Mobile initially launched Simply Prepaid retail stores in Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles and New York City. By the end of 2014, the carrier plans to open more than 300 Simply Prepaid stores. Stores are owned and run by independent wireless dealers.
