It’s started with RingPlus adding support for the iPhone 4 and 4S on its BYOSD (Bring Your Own Sprint Device) program few days ago and now other Sprint MVNOs are announcing and confirming the same plus adding iPhone 5 to the list. RingPlus 2014 Free Plan to be available again on March 28Sprint MVNO RingPlus will be offering its free BYOSD plan again on March 28, starting at noon until 12:30 PM Pacific Time. According to their forum, RingPlus 2014 free plan will include 200 minutes, 500 SMS and 50 MB of data. Ting adds iPhone 5 to its BYOD list almost four months after providing support for iPhone 4S and iPhone 4. FreedomPop allows Sprint phones with their free service plan, sells HTC EVO 4G for $99Sprint MVNO FreedomPop has announced today that they’ve made their second smartphone available, the HTC EVO 4G. The WiMAX-enabled HTC EVO 4G can be purchased for $99 off contract. In addition, FreedomPop allows Sprint phones now through their BYOD option. Customers can now bring their old Sprint phones and activate them with FreedomPop Phone VoIP-based mobile free service plan. MetroPCS GSM BYOP program launched in select marketsMetroPCS has launched its GSM-based Bring Your Own Phone program, as the leaked document suggested few days ago. MetroPCS GSM BYOP program allows customers to bring their unlocked GSM handset, including iPhone, to the MetroPCS store and activate it with MetroPCS service. The program is currently live in Boston, Dallas, Hartford, and Las Vegas. The service will expand at some point but the carrier didn’t say when. Read more
