LG Optimus Slider and HTC Wildfire S announced by Virgin Mobile, data throttling postponed until 2012

Just few days ago, we wrote about Best Buy revealing the LG Optimus Slider to be added to Virgin Mobile’ lineup. It’s not only that it’s confirmed, but today, Virgin Mobile also officially announced another Android phone, HTC Wildfire S, to become part of carrier’s offer. So, these two new mid to low range (depends on how you look at it) Android phones are welcome addition, even though some would like to see higher-end handset to side with Motorola Triumph. Anyway, both smartphones, LG Optimus Slider and HTC Wildfire S, are very similar in specs and price; both will be available for $199.99. Read more
