Target Brightspot prepaid service now available online and in storesJust as announced, a new Target MVNO Brightspot has launched its service this weekend. Brightspot prepaid service is now available online, at brightspotmobile.com and in Target stores. New prepaid MVNO operates on T-Mobile HSPA+/LTE network and offers three prepaid monthly plans.

The $35 monthly plan includes unlimited talk and text only. The $50 monthly plan comes with unlimited talk, text and data with 1GB of high-speed data, after which speeds are throttled to 2G. The $65 monthly plan offers unlimited talk, text and data with 4GB of high-speed data, after which speeds are throttled to 2G.

Brightspot prepaid service also offers international add-on options for $5 and $10 per month. For $5 per month, users get unlimited texting to over 200 countries including Canada, Mexico, China and India. For $10 per month, they get unlimited texting and unlimited calling to landlines in over 56 countries.

Brightspot customers can bring their own unlocked GSM phone and purchase a SIM for a $9.99 or get one of the Brightspot phones to activate service with. The Brightspot phones currently available are LTE-enabled Samsung Galaxy S III ($399.99), LG Optimus F6 ($289.99) and LG Optimus F3 ($199.99), Alcatel One Touch Fierce ($149.99), Nokia Lumia 521 ($99.99), Huawei Prism II ($89.99) and feature phones Alcatel Sparq II ($49.99) and Alcatel 665 ($29.99).

Brightspot also rewards its customers with a $25 gift card every six months and for Target REDcard holders, it provides a five percent discount on their monthly bill.
