TextNow Introduces International Calling To Over 150 Countries And Credit Earning By Watching Ads
TextNow Wireless, the world’s first cloud-based prepaid wireless company that uses Sprint network for cellular service will improve its prepaid offerings with new features. First, TextNow introduces international calling to more than 150 countries and second, their customers will be able to earn credit by watching commercials or by completing offers within the TextNow app. Earned credit can be used towards paying for the service or for international calls.
Customers can expect new international feature to become available over the next few months but right now, they can sign up for beta.
The company says that users will be able to check the rates of international calls before they make the actual call. They just need to enter the wanted phone number into phone’s dialer and before connecting, the rates will be revealed. Some of the countries included in the offer are Mexico, China and India. Customers will be able to call international countries at low international rates using their existing TextNow number. The same number can also be used from users’ tablets and computers, through the TextNow app.
In addition, the company has made its unlimited calling and texting to US and Canada free for all TextNow users; those who are on paid plans that include cellular service and to those who are using free TextNow app with VoIP-based service. The app is available to Android, iOS, Windows and Mac platforms.
TextNow monthly plans include:
- $18.99 plan – unlimited talk, text and data with first 500MB at high speeds and unlimited calls to Canada
- $26.99 plan – unlimited talk, text and data with first 1GB at high speeds and unlimited calls to Canada
