U.S. Cellular has enriched its prepaid offer with ZTE Director, an affordable Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone. This entry-level handset can be purchased at the U.S. Cellular’s website for $99.99 after $100 discount, while its original price is $199.99.
The ZTE Director features a 3.5-inch HVGA (480×320) display, 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and miscroSD card slot for expanding memory furthermore, up to 32GB. In addition, it has a 3-megapixel camera with LED flash and video recording capability. The Director also comes with a Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, mobile hotspot and EV-DO Rev. A connectivity and the 1,500mAh battery to power it all.
The ZTE Director can be paired with the U.S. Cellular’s prepaid monthly plan for smartphones, the $65 plan, which includes unlimited talk, unlimited messaging and 2GB of data per month.
The phone can also be purchased with a two-year contract for $0.01.
