Verizon Launches LG K8 V, First Prepaid Phone With HD Voice Support
Verizon Wireless has improved its prepaid offerings with a new smartphone. Verizon launched the LG K8 V, first prepaid phone that comes with a HD Voice support. The carrier has introduced HD Voice for its prepaid customers in September last year. The LG K8 V is available at Verizon online for $144.00.
Specs of Verizon’s Prepaid LG K8 V
The LG K8 V comes with a 5-inch IPS HD display, 1.3 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm MSM8909 processor, 1.5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that can be expanded additionally up to 128GB of data via microSD card. The phone runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 operating system and uses 8-megapixel rear camera for picture taking and 5-megapixel front-facing camera with Gesture Shot. A 2125 mAh Li-Ion removable battery powers the phone and provides up to 16 days of standby time or up to 22 hours of usage time.
HD Voice and Video Calling
To experience better quality sound with HD Voice and Video Calling, first, both users involved in a conversion must be on Verizon and have HD Voice-capable phones. Next, customers need to add HD Voice feature to their account. Ones requirements are met, customers will be able to simultaneous talk and surf web on Verizon’s LTE network. Also, they will be able to talk to the USA numbers for free while for dialing international numbers, they will be charged international long distance rates. In addition, prepaid customers will be able to make one-way or two-way video calls, six-way conference calls and Wi-Fi Calling.
