Verizon LG Transpyre now available for $99.99
Verizon Wireless has enriched its prepaid phone lineup today with a new 4G LTE smartphone, the LG Transpyre. The new Verizon prepaid phone is great for multitasking and gaming due to its quad-core processor or content streaming due to connecting to Verizon’s 4G LTE network. Verizon LG Transpyre is available for $99.99 at the carrier’s website.
LG Transpyre Specs
Besides 4G LTE connectivity and 1.2 GHz quad–core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the LG Transpyre features a 4.5-inch In-Cell Hybrid LCD (800 x 480) display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and full HD video capture and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera with HD camcorder. Selfies can also be taken with a simple hand gesture. In addition, the phone comes with Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and microSD card slot for additional memory expansion up to 32GB. The phone has a Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, S–GPS, mobile hotspot support and a removable 2,100 mAh battery that provides up to 11 hours of talk time.
The LG Transpyre can be paired with Verizon’s $45 Allset smartphone plan that includes unlimited talk, unlimited text and picture messaging, unlimited text to Canada, Mexico & Puerto Rico and 500 MB of 4G LTE data. Customers can add additional data if they need it: 500 MB of data for $5 (expires after 30 days), 1 GB of data for $10 (expires after 90 days) and 3 GB of data for $20 (expires after 90 days). Unused data roll over to the next billing cycle and only two data add-ons can be added per billing cycle. Verizon is still running a promotion that doubles monthly data of smartphone users to 1 GB by enrolling in Auto Pay.
