Verizon Prepaid Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) Now Available For $109.99
Verizon Wireless has started selling the new Samsung Galaxy J3 with its prepaid service. The latest version of the Galaxy J3 has been offered by Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, Sprint’s prepaid brands, too since the beginning of the year. Verizon’s version of the J3 comes with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS pre-installed, while Boost’s and Virgin’s models run Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Verizon Prepaid Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) is available for $109.99 and can be purchased at the carrier’s website.

In addition to the latest version of Android operating system, the new Galaxy J3 has a 5-inch (1280×720) HD Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (Boost’ and Virgin’s models have 16GB) and support for microSD cards up to 128 GB. It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. A 2600 mAh battery on the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) provides up to 25 hours of power.
Verizon Prepaid Plans
Verizon Prepaid Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) works with monthly unlimited smartphone plans that start at $30 per month. The $30 plan includes WiFi only data in addition to unlimited talk, unlimited messaging and unlimited text to Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. Additional cellular data cannot be added to the $30 plan. The $45 and $60 plans include unlimited talk, unlimited messaging, unlimited text to Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico and 2 GB and 5 GB of 4G LTE data, respectively. If customers sign in to auto pay, they get additional 1GB of data on the $45 and the $60 plans. Customers can also add more data on these two plans by purchasing data packages: $5/500MB of data per 30 days, $10/1GB of data per 90 days and $20/3GB of data per 90 days.
