Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Arriving On March 18, Boost’s Confirmed For March 11
Sprint has announced exact dates on which the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be released for its prepaid brands Boost and Virgin Mobile. Boost previously revealed on its Facebook and Twitter that its version will be released on March 11 while Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 will start being available a week later, on March 18, 2016. Both carriers will sell the S7 for $649.99, in Black Onyx.
The Galaxy S7 features Android 6.0 Marshmallow, a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display, octa-core Exynos processor, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage and support for microSD cards up to 200 GB. The phone has a 12-megapixel camera, 5-megapixels front-facing camera, a non-removable 3,000mAh battery, wireless charging features and it’s water-resistant (IP68 rated).
The Samsung Galaxy S7 on Boost Mobile is compatible with growing data plans and $60 unlimited un-throttled plan. The $35 growing data plan ($30 with auto pay) includes unlimited talk, text and data with 2GB at high speed that can grow up to 5GB after 18 on-time payments. The $45 growing data plan offers 5GB at high speed that can grow up to 8GB after 18 on-time payments while the $60 plan includes everything unlimited (un-throttled). All plans include free music streaming, too.
Boost also recently improved its prepaid service with number of features as family plans, $5 auto pay discount, mobile hotspot, roaming and more. In addition, the carrier runs promotion in which it offers 50 percent off monthly payment and 10GB of high speed data instead of regular 5GB for T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon customers who switch to Boost Mobile family plans until April 5, 2016.
Virgin Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 works with $30, $40 and $50 monthly plans that include unlimited talk, text and data with first 500MB, 4GB and 6GB at high speeds, respectively. Virgin plans also include free music streaming that doesn’t count against plans’ high speed data.
