Zact calls itself the “industry’s first smart mobile service provider” because of Zact app that takes care of customers not to overpay for anything that they don’t use. Right from the phone, customers can choose separately the voice, text and data plans which they think they need but even if they are wrong, the Never Overpay Guarantee makes sure they will be credited back. The app is compatible with Android-powered handsets only.
Each plan can be shared between Zact-enabled devices that can be added to an account for $4.99 per device. Also, specialized plans as access to Facebook only ($5 per month) or to maps and navigation ($5 per month) are available. In addition, parents have a parental control directly through their Zact’s phone, through which they can set curfew, block access to browsers, restrict apps and contacts on their children’s Zact phone.
In addition, Zact offers two LG Android handsets, LG Viper Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone for $199 and LG Optimus Elite Android 2.3 Gingerbread for $149. The Zact charges activation fee $10 and shipping $6.99, runs on the Sprint’s 3G/4G LTE network and offers off network roaming.
