The security hole that affects ZTE Score, apparently just one of the affected phones, is also called backdoor and would exposed the phone’s content to anyone with the hardwired password.
Other phones as ZTE Skate are also said to be affected, after first reports on ZTE phones in U.S. having security hole are posted on pastebin.com this week.
ZTE confirms existence of security hole on ZTE Score but denies it on other ZTE phones. They are working on a solution that will be sent as an over-the-air update to affected users.
